Our Favourite Halloween Gin Cocktails

The nights are drawing in and All Hallow’s Eve will soon be upon us! To help you get into the spirit of the season this Halloween, we’ve brought together some of our most spellbinding cocktails to add some spooky sophistication to your celebrations.

From wickedly dark concoctions to bloodcurdling bright cocktails, we’ve got what you need to immerse yourself into an evening of luxurious fun.

Spooky Sunrise

Our terrifying take on the much-loved Tequila Sunrise swaps the Tequila for our refreshing Coastal Gin. The perfect addition to an already lively drink.

  • 50ml Coastal Gin
  • 25ml Grenadine
  • Orange Juice
  • Orange peel to garnish

In a tall glass, pour the grenadine into the base and set aside. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the gin and orange juice. Shake until chilled.

Add some ice to the glass then carefully pour the the rest of the mix into it, trying not to disturb the grenadine layer too much.

Add more ice if needed and add a twist of orange peel or two to garnish.

Negroni

For a cocktail that packs a punch with a bitter edge, we recommend the classic Negroni. Whilst this tipple is full of complex flavour, it’s simple enough to make from equal parts gin, Campari and vermouth.

Whilst bitter in overall taste, the addition of vermouth and orange garnish add a sweet fruitiness that perfectly balances the drink.

  • 25ml London Dry Gin
  • 25ml Campari
  • 25ml Sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes of Angustura bitters
  • Orange to garnish

Pour the gin, vermouth, Campari and bitters into a mixing glass or jug with ice. Stir well until the outside of the glass feels cold.

Strain into a tumbler and add some fresh ice. Garnish with an orange slice, using a blood orange when in season.

Black Widow

Sleek and sinister, the Black Widow is a deliciously sweet and fruity cocktail that’ll go down a treat with those with a sweet tooth. Fresh blackberries give this concoction a burst of delicate, natural flavour that pairs perfectly with our Strawberry & Black Pepper Gin.

In a cocktail shaker, muddle a handful of blackberries (the more blackberries, the darker your drink). Fill the shaker with ice and combine the gin, elderflower liqueur and lemon juice. Shake well and strain into a glass. Top with soda and add blackberries to garnish.

Pumpkin Spice Martini

Halloween isn’t the same without a bit of pumpkin spice! Our delicately warming Old Tom Gin forms the smooth and sweet base for this seasonal favourite. Reminiscent of tasty pumpkin pie, the inclusion of cinnamon and nutmeg garnish infuses the drink with a hint of extra flavour. The perfect accompaniment to cozy evening around the fire with friends.

  • 50ml Old Tom Gin
  • 50ml Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 20ml Pumpkin Spice Syrup*
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Nutmeg

Fill a cocktail shaker or mixing glass with ice then add Old Tom Gin, Irish Cream Liqueur and Pumpkin Spice Syrup. Shake or stir well for 15 seconds. Strain into a Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg!
